Any other information/General boat condition/Known problems

1969 Grampian 26 sailboat in great shape, comfortable, well maintained and reliable. Those who know Grampians know they are sturdy, make for a great sail, and are know for their high cabin ceilings, offering plenty of headroom for very comfortable cruising. My wife and I have owned the boat for 3 years, and have put a ton of work into her, but we are overseas now more than we are in the US and so must sell. She is 26 long, beam of 8 and draws about 4. This is a great boat, and we have been fixing it up to sail it for many years to come, but due to the move, we unfortunately must part with her. Any questions, please contact me, we are eager to sell.

DECK AND HULL

- Deck was repainted three years ago, still in excellent shape

- Hull has been power washed, and is in decent shape (no blistering) but could use a coat of paint. It is currently in dry dock, so great opportunity to put on a new coat

- Treated wood paneling on the cockpit sole

- Anchor Well w/Space for Rode & Chain

- Stainless steel boat's wheel

- Mast steps for easy access up mast

- Starboard-side toe rail is broken, can be fixed or replaced.

SAILS and ENGINE:

- Brand new main sail, with one reef, made by Bacon's in Annapolis. A beautiful main that has only been used about 5 times.

- Also comes with jib and storm jib

- Cover for main sail

- Winch and winch handle

- Honda 9 horsepower outboard engine in good working condition. Two gas tanks.

ELECTRICAL AND SAFETY

- All the electrical works, and it is fairly simple. The battery (three years old, runs only the exterior lights, depth finder, and vhf radio)

- Battery is mounted and secure in the starboard berth locker

- All running lights work except the anchor light that needs to be replaced

- Fully operational vhf radio

- Hawk Eye Depth finder

- Powerfilm flexible recharging solar panel for battery

- Flares, noisemaker and charts of Potomac

- Anchor with chain and line

- Emergency tiller

 ACCOMMODATIONS:

- Completely repainted interior as well as refinished cabin sole.

- Brand new, custom made, cushions for the entire cabin to include entire V-berth and aft sleeping compartments (sleeps a total of four adults)

- LED Cabin lights available for new owner to install where they would like

- Opening Deck Hatch and Deck Side Windows, Dinette Table

- Storage closet and bathroom with hand flush toilet

- Hand pump sink in kitchen with large water storage tank in v-berth storage locker (needs new water line), storage shelves and fully operating Origo 3000 alcohol stove
